Here at DIYninjas we’ve had a number of requests to bring the definitive stylin’ of Neoclassical to the Thesis Framework. Clearly, there’s a lot of people out there who just love the feel of Neoclassical, but are aching for killer advances that come with with running on Thesis.
We thought the best way forward then was to get to work. Oh, and to release what we came up with free to the Thesis community.

Mitch, I just wanted to state here that you have indeed brought me back to the land of Thesis, all because of Neoclassical+Thesis. Applying it to a test installation now; hope to apply it to my production blog this week. I’ll let you know when it’s done. So far, I’ve had no questions, but if I do I know where to come.
Phil Barron: Awesome to hear , please drop back and let us know once you’ve made the switch.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Neoclassical + Thesis in production, as I’m sure is Chris over at DIYthemes!
A few more tweaks to make, but the switch to Neo+Thesis is done, and I’m liking it a lot. Thanks again for making this possible!
A note regarding the image header: Because Thesis is em-based, wide images such as that in the header don’t resize along with the rest of the site when viewed in FF/Windows (which measures ems smaller than, say IE). Thus, wide images often end up spilling over to the right in FF/Win. (Almost all Thesis sites look like this in this browser.) The fix, which I’ve applied, is to declare the header image size in ems rather than pixels. Looks pretty good in the six browsers I’ve tested today.
Thanks for the efforts. I have the Thesis Developer’s License. I came to Thesis by way of using the NeoClassic Theme. Even after I got Thesis, it took me awhile to swap out NeoClassical on my personal site because I liked it so much.
So thanks again. I get the best of both worlds, Thesis on the back end with NeoClassical on the front end.

This is what I’ve been waiting for. I adore my neoclassical theme from top to bottom. I can literally just sit staring at my website all googely eyed ’cause it’s so darn purdy.
And I’ve been longing for Thesis, but didn’t want to give up the NeoClassical features I love. I know I could write them all myself, but sheesh… I do enough messing around with code.
A HUGE thanks to you! I’m downloading it now!!!
I like the Neoclassical+Thesis combo lots but when Thesis 1.4.2 bumped up to 1.5 the RSS button disappeared. I’m on 1.5.1 now but still I don’t have the knowledge to rectify the problem. Any clues?
I’m just setting up a website — and have been captivated by the NeoClassical theme………but now I’m more intrigued by Thesis + NeoClassical. Does the NeoClassical skin for Thesis feature the random rotating image header (so that I can upload my own images and specify how many images to randomly show in the header)?
If so, I think I’ll have to pop for Thesis.
Check it out. I could not have done it with out you. Thanks for the neoclassical and thesis combined!
Now I’m working on content
Thanks for giving this gift
I read a article under the same title some time ago, but this articles quality is much, much better. How you do this?
